Cookie policy

Last updated 18 July 2026.

This policy explains the cookies and similar locally-stored data used by Martha Hurry's Double Agent (this site). It's operated by the operator, referred to here as "we"/"us".

Essential cookie

We use one cookie to keep you signed in:

This cookie is strictly necessary for the site to work — there's no way to stay signed in without it, and it isn't used for advertising or tracking you elsewhere.

Advertising cookies (third party)

The game shows occasional interstitial and in-dialog advertisements through Google's H5 Games Ad Placement API (AdSense). When an ad is shown, Google (and its advertising partners) may set their own cookies on your device to serve and measure ads, and to limit how often you see the same one. We don't control these cookies directly — see Google's advertising policy for what they collect and how to opt out of personalised ads.

Locally-stored preferences

The game also stores a couple of small values in your browser's local storage (not a cookie, but similar — it stays on your device and isn't sent to us with every request): your call sign and side preference, as a fallback while your full profile loads. These never leave your browser except when you explicitly take an action that sends them (like connecting to the game).

Managing cookies

Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies through their settings. Blocking the essential session cookie will prevent you from staying signed in. Blocking third-party advertising cookies won't affect the game itself, though you may still see (less relevant) ads.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. Check back here for the current version.
